Are cloth face towels good for drying my face?
It is something you don't really think about - bacteria that can live in cloth towels, especially as they get re-used and just sit in place day after day.

I have worked in the healthcare industry for over 18 years - and one thing they teach us after washing our hands, is to use a clean paper towel to dry. This is exactly why in public restrooms we do NOT have re-usable towels. Now, think about the potential for bacteria on your FACE!!!In an article published by TIME magazine, towels offer the PERFECT environment for bacteria and microbes that transfer from your natural skin's bacteria, and while not immediately harmful, it can definatley multiply - depending on you and the environment your towel is hanging in (Abrams, 2017).
I have also used face cleaning sponges and other cloths, let them hang in the shower for a few days and will notice a smell after a few days - yuck!
